Colour
Fred Herzog devoted his artistic life to walking the streets of Vancouver as well as almost 40 countries with his Leica, photographing - mostly with colour slide film - his observations of the street life with all its complexities. Personally i love street photography, as each photo tells a different story, the colours also communicate meaning within the images as well.
For my images i will try to capture some street photography that involves colour.

Ive chosen these photos because im intrested within selective colour photography, i believe it makes the the photo pop, it also lets the viewer picture the rest of the colour in the image without seeing it. Im going to try and mimick some photos like this.
I really like the idea of muted photography as any photo that is coloured muted automatically becomes a lot more calming. These types of images are a lot softer than selective colour images as theyre not saturated, or singled out, everything blurs into one.
Images that require improvement
I struggled with the iso settings, especially with the mushroom photo as i was experimenting with different iso settings to see the best outcome i could get. in order of the mushroom pictures i used the iso setting of 400, 800 and then 1600. i found that with the higher iso setting you use, the more grit the photo gains. but in a way i like that affect it brought to the image.
